Overview of Groups (Roles Module)
The Roles module acts as Groups, and allows District Administrators and designated organizational users to create and manage membership of user-defined roles. Role membership can be defined by both static and dynamic inclusions and exclusions. User-Defined Roles can be used within the Clever IDM Enterprise Administrator Portal for Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). The Group objects can also be used for access control or distribution lists, either directly or through synchronization with Active Directory, Google, and Microsoft 365.
Pre-Configured Roles (Groups)
Clever IDM Enterprise comes pre-configured with a number of Roles. This is specific to each district, but includes the following:
All District Students
All District Staff
All District Teachers
All District Employees (Teachers and Staff)
