Clever IDM Enterprise Technology Overview
Clever IDM Enterprise is a robust identity management (IDM) solution that allows school districts to manage the lifecycle of identities and accounts in critical systems, such as:
Active Directory
Google Workspaces (formerly G-Suite)
Microsoft 365/Azure
This would provide direct integration to Clever as a source of truth for student, teacher, and staff data. Additionally, the Clever IDM Enterprise portal allows district administrators to do the following:
Directly manage district accounts
Add third-party or non-district accounts
Manage Groups
Provide self-service capabilities for teachers and staff, such as:
Claim account credentials
Self-service password reset
Like Clever, the IDM Enterprise solution is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, and therefore reduces the burden on the district of managing infrastructure and resources for running the software. This service is also backed with a Service Level Agreement (SLA) that ensures your lifecycle activities will continue to function and be available for your district.
