Clever IDM Enterprise Product Guide

Authorizing the Sharing of District Data

For the Clever IDM Enterprise solution to function correctly and securely, district administrators must authorize the sharing of district data within Clever. As with other applications in Clever, district administrators can authorize the sharing of all district data, some district data, or no data. It is recommended that district administrators share ALL district data with the Clever IDM Enterprise application so that identities and accounts of all types can be managed appropriately.

To authorize the sharing of district data, follow the steps outlined in this Clever Support Article.

Note

District administrators have the ability to modify sharing permissions at any time within their Clever tenant. It is highly recommended that once these settings are determined for the Clever Enterprise IDM, that the sharing permissions NOT be modified. Modifying the permissions could have an adverse impact on the identities and accounts in the identity repository as well as in downstream applications such as Active Directory, Google Workspaces, and Microsoft 365. This impact can include disabling access and potentially removing memberships in groups or distribution lists.
